Honest there is a question at the end of all this.
Stella has found a forever home. It is with a lovely lady that wants a dog to love and cuddle with. Stella needs a home where she can be cuddled with a lot more than she is here. It seems like it will be a great match. And, of course, Stella goes with my standard agreement that if it does not work out, she comes back to me. She is suppose to go to her new home on Wednesday.
Spec. Ops. has finally also a great forever home. He is going to a military family with an autistic 10 year old. The father trains military dogs. The family has been visiting Spec off and on for about a month now. Spec. loves the whole family and dotes on the child. This is a match made in heaven and the effect that Spec has on the child is amazing. The family is moving, so Spec. is staying with us until the move is complete. Then when Dad leaves to rejoin the family in 2 weeks Spec. will go with him.
Mysty may also be getting a forever home. This one is not a done deal. However, an older couple has been visiting with her recently. Mysty likes them and they are very gentle with my shy one. I am waiting on my vet checking with their vet about a reference for them.
I am worried about the sudden lack of dogs bothering Boo and Wolf. Is this too much change to fast for them, particularly with Pip dying yesterday? Should ask the lady taking Stella to wait a few more days? Or, am I attaching human feelings to them?
