I have a 4 year old Wiem that is in good spirits and runs around like nut normally. I noticed about a week ago that she now walks up the stairs instead of running, after she let a few yipes out while running up the stairs. Also, I hear a yipe here or there when she is laying herself down or getting on or off the couch/bed. They are one of those half yipes but you can hear it and it isn't just a moan! On the flip side, she was running around outside like no problem, stretches in wierd positions, playing tug of war with a stick, chasing the stick all crazy and making sharp hard cuts while running. All if this with no yipes at all. As a concerned father (mostly like a nervous mother) I tend to think of the worse and really don't want to. I don't think I'm ready to take her to the vet, uless she is getting worse. Is there anything I can give her (asprin/baby asprin?) or check on her at home before I start to make any more assumptions? I do know that she had some pain when she was a pup (growth pains) and the vet gave me some pain reliever and told me no excercise for 3-4 days. any ideas?
