Ads at bottom of browser screen? Anyone else getting those?

Posts: 936 Apr 14 10 1:51 PM	Remove this ad For some reason I keep getting these ads at the bottom left of my screen when I'm logged in here at MSP. Does anyone else have those? Or am I just special? They're rather distracting actually - would love to know how to get rid of them. Right now is an ad for Pedigree to help them help dogs. I've noticed this in both Fire Fox and IE8, if that means anything. Jennifer and Sadie

The annoying thing is that you just don't know when they'll turn up, i can be using the boards for a while and then suddenly my browser will take longer to load a page and there it is sitting in the bottom left hand corner distracting my attention from whatever post i'm trying to read. *~Sarah*

Posts: 936 Apr 18 10 12:04 PM	I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's what I did: Click on 'account' (access it from top of screen next to log in name) scroll down on the account Settings page, and uncheck the box that says "enable chat bar". Hit "save chat bar settings" Then, I closed my browser and logged back in. . . .not sure if that's necessary, but it worked!!! Jennifer and Sadie
