Dog food question

Posts: 2427 11/05/09 12:54 PM	A while back we switched to Holistic Select made by Eagle Pack. Both the dogs and cats are doing really well on it. However, last weekend DH went to the pet store to buy some more and was informed by the owner that the brand was bought by another company. I looked on line and found that Holistic Select, Eagle Pack, Mother Hubbard, and Wellness are now all owned by the same company--Well Pet LLC. I thought that "Wellness" bought up the other companies until I was talking to a friend who feeds Wellness and she said that Wellness was bought by a new company as well. Does anyone have any information to share about this? We use 3 of these 4 brands on a regular basis--with good results, but I'm concerned about these big changes. Thanks! Posts: 7863 11/06/09 11:03 AM Trainer/Senior Member	I do know that Wellness made a big drop in quality the first time it was bought out. My dogs could no longer tolerate it. I think it has always been under the same owner as Old Mother Hubbard.

Posts: 4406 11/06/09 1:27 PM Senior Member	I fed Eagle Pack holistic select up until a couple of months ago--Molly did really well on it, and then all of a sudden she became constipated. I'm pretty sure it coincided with the buy out. I've switched her over to Iams, she seems to be doing okay on it. I think if your dogs do well on it, why worry?
