Thanks - we'll take those well wishes. Last night the white pup was behind the toilet again and the cat was in the closet hiding behind the shoes. Kip felt
like an only pet.

knock on wood, Micky hasn't been bothered by thunder of fireworks yet (it's his first 4th of July with me, but San Antonio doesn't need much of an
excuse for a party and we've lived through a few events with fireworks that are set off only a few blocks away). My understanding is that this is a fear
many dogs develop as they age, so I'll count my blessings for now.

Here's hoping for the best for the pyro-phobic pups. Ringo was terrified of them and every Wed and Sun folks let off fireworks around town for the football
games. It was horrible. I've really appreciated that Placido could care less about fireworks. Gotta love that about gundogs...

Good wish... our neighbors have taken up target practice in their backyard with some VERY BIG sounding guns. Glad none of mine are sensitive - sympathies to
everyone with dogs who are. I've had those dogs. It's tough.

Aaaand here we go . . . someone right close to our house is setting them off. In between volleys you can hear hysterical dogs all over the neighborhood.
