a beautiful book by Ann Patchett, her use of language is so lyrical I had to put the book down and promise myself to only read it when I could truly pay
attention to her words. Often I will just inhale a book but this one needs to be savored

I loved it. We read it for book group, and while some people didn't care for the ending, I thought it was just right.
