Our neighbors set off HUGE fireworks this year..several neighbors, in fact.
We were able to sit on the pool deck and watch an amazing light show. ALL of us. Dogs included. We started out on the porch with treats (just in case Irie was scared- we could hurry back in if needed).
Irie was only interested in FOOD..what fireworks?!
Voo was very excited, but not fearful (when isn't Voo excited?)
Strider and Henry, my good solid boys..watched with interest, then turned their attention to snacks.
After years of terrified (and then sedated) dogs..I can't express how happy we are. Only those of us with noise phobic dogs can understand how big this is for us.
