Also, that scoundrel Byrdie has strawberry breath.
He smells delicious.

They've been raiding the garden. I know it's them because only the seedlings on the outside of the bed are gone.
Also, that scoundrel Byrdie has strawberry breath. He smells delicious.

Just don't panic when you see red poop- check to see if any tomatoes are ripe. And yes, I speak from experience.

Wolfgang and DD compete for the strawberries at my house, and Wolfgang has taught Ruby how awesomely delicious they are. I sometimes despair of getting any
for myself!

In my garden, history is doomed to repeat itself because I have the memory of a flea. I planted a group of pole beans, with visions of big vines and pickled
beans. What I forgot was that MY CAT INKY eats the stalks from the bottom. Rotten cat. Now I have some dead vines. I'm hoping some netting will protect the
rest. Last time he managed to lift the netting. I know it's him.
Hope Byrdie enjoyed the strawberries. Does he have pink lips?

My client has retained me to tell you that strawberry BREATH is not proof of strawberry THEFT. Unless you got pictures, lady, the Byrd goes free. FREE BYRD!
(Did I ever tell you the Kenny's original name was Freebird, named by the breeder's kids? She told them they had to call him Kenny so he was Kenny Freebird.) ~Claire |

Was just out picking raspberries with Pip -= she's a berry good dog. Had to fence off the strawberries because she's got quite a nose for the ripe
ones. I feel your pain.

We had a Pekingese/Poodle who used to steal cherry tomatoes from my Aunt June's house when she'd go over to visit. Four footed gardeners are so
efficient! They don't even need to store their crops.

I didn't get any asparagus this year because I forgot to fence it off.

I've got the x-pen ready to protect the tomatoes when they get ripe.

Zibi has been into the mulberries. We have a gazillion and they are hitting the ground in quantity right now. Last year I wondered how many mulberries to
digestive upset in a 12 pound dog but he really didn't have any issues. The last two days he's been "off" ... had me up at 3 and 5:45 this
a.m. I'm suspecting the mulberries.
