Looks like fun (and a good workout).
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and
true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion--Anonymous

Climbing? Isn't that why things like stairs and elevators were invented?!

It is an excellent work out. While you are climbing, if you think --- USE LEGS --- usually a good thing. Have fun!

Ooh, you'll love it! Our gym has a permanent climbing wall and a portable one they take to events. It is a hoot.
Can we see pics?

Oh fun... I so need to get climbing again.
I second Kei's advice to think of legs, legs, legs. |

I don't know about this climbing thing, but I'd jump out of an airplane with you. (With a parachute of course) I'm sure you're getting to that
point one of these days if you haven't already.

Remember anatomy classes? Remember all those little muscles besides the big ones everyone knows the names of? You are about to become intimately familiar
with all of them.

That's what I want! Remember a few things from a few weeks spent climbing in the Swiss Alps many moons ago... and the full body awareness of it all is one
of those things. Such a tactile and "present" sport. Only place you can be is in the now. I think.

the full body awareness of it all is one of those things. Such a tactile and "present" sport.Mostly off topic except for this, but I picked up a pair of these last week and have been hugely digging on them for basically this exact reason. It's awesome having the proprioceptive senses in my feet and toes back- like taking off a blindfold I didn't know I had on. I wouldn't go rock climbing in our great state without several inches of thick leather up and down my feet and ankles for snake reasons, but I bet indoor climbing with them would be pretty sweet- they have been for every other active thing I've tried so far. |

Well, it stands to reason that treeclimbing must be next on your agenda! I can hook you up, if you are interested. It's not hard, it's a good workout,
and the view from the treetops is delicious!
