In my continuing saga trying to find out just why I am exhausted and my legs hurt when I go up hill and climb stairs I was back talking to my primary physician today. I will spare you the details but he ended up doing an EKG, fully expecting to find nothing.
He didn't.
According to the little machine I show signs of having had a heart attack. Huh? When? (O.K. I can think of one possible time, but it was ruled out by.... an EKG).
So I am being sent to a cardiologist but I won't know when that appointment is until Monday or Tuesday. I am in a state of moderate denial as my weight is excellent, my cholesterol good and my blood pressure low. But, as usual, I have my internal hysteric whispering in my ears (which is a huge improvement. She used to rule my life)
On the good side this result will justify all the other tests I need to have done to try to figure out my original symptoms (which, by the way are being medically controlled and I'm feeling much better). So there is definitely a silver lining.
But a little hand holding (or a few MSP vibes) would go a long way!
