Cabot and I spent Sat/Sun at a field dog test about 2 hours from home.
Windy cool weather but good for running dogs in the fields.
Cabot was a superstar both days - he ran big and fast and he found a ton of birds - pointed them beauitfully and was very intense and stylish. Judges comments were very complimentary and his scores were high.
He really knows how to find birds - just wonderful to watch your dog do what it is supposed to do.
He takes my breath away out there. Hard feeling to describe watching him tear through the undergrowth, and then slamming onto point.
Cabot can now add a new title to his name - Field Dog Junior - FDJ.
I am very proud of him. We would love to train for the next levels when we find the time.
I want to let Cabot pursue his inner bird dog.
Take Care, Alix

We are leaving all the dogs home with Emma and are going to Regionals just to spectate. I haven't even volunteered for anything. I am just looking
forward to going and helping out friends and cheering on our favourite teams. Looking forward to seeing you there (and talking tattoos
).
