response to them.  He loves loves loves to play ball or to fetch a stick out of water and he has never met a stranger he didn&#39;t want to befriend.  He comes
like a shot when called in from the yard and has charmed the neighborhood mailman into stopping for a quick game of fetch on his route.

			<description><![CDATA[ Claire I agree, trash cans must seem like gorgeous buffets.  Dogs probably wonder why we don&#39;t have our noses stuck in them.  Today I was about to throw
out some paper towel I drained bacon on and saw Karma sniffing the air outside the kitchen and decided to put it in the freezer to be disposed of with the
bones.  Seemed safer!

			<description><![CDATA[ Jeni at least your kids will open the door to throw things out!  We used to keep our trash in a kitchen closet type area and for a brief period under the sink
but for some reason this just encouraged people to put things on the counter for the trash fairy to get later so that&#39;s why our trash is out in the kitchen
now.  We do put any bones in a bag in the freezer until trash day so at least the dogs don&#39;t ever get those.  I can&#39;t really complain though.  After

			<description><![CDATA[ I have my own trash raiding dachshund. He literally jumps against the can until it bounces hard enough against the wall to tip over. Our trash isn&#39;t even
in the kitchen. It&#39;s in the laundry room behind a *supposed to be* closed door. Until my kids throw something away and then leave the door open. ]]></description>

was my rescue samoyed! Found the dog eating road kill du jour as far as he was concerned....the next meal was always in question. LOL. He quite frankly put my
