Sorry guys no photo's yet! Both batteries are dead and I have misplaced the charger. Can you believe it!

Anyway I will update this latter. Have to blast, DD is here to greet our newcomer. Just thought I would let everyone know that puppy breath won the day.

Yep, I'm not sure why they bother making 24 inch x-pens. At the shelter we have all 48 inch x-pens, and the kind with the door in a panel is easiest to
use, unless you're VERY tall and can bend over a 48 inch barrier and still reach a pup easily.

The handling you're doing sounds fantastic.

Oh Sarah how right you are. I feel so guilty not including Bogart.
Yesterday Cassie (yes she finally has a name) and I went to town.

She does very well in the truck. I bought her a crate a little to big for right now and will be a little too small later, but will work well for the time
being.

We also found her her first collar. Which she thinks is very itchy right now. Hopefully it will get softer and more comfortable the more she wears it.

Thanks Sarah

So for no. 2 we have a trip planned to the local pet puppy store (where I will pack her just in case) for her essentials. Leash, collar, crate, so we can
work on no 1. Oh and some shampoo I think bath time will work for no 4. She is the dirtiest puppy I have ever seen. She seems pretty tolerant so far. I
noticed her chewing something and didn't know what it was. So I popped her mouth open to have a look. She was amazingly fine with it. I had kind of...

Okay -
1) Minimize time with Bogart.
She's had PLENTY of dog socialization up to now (we'll continue that, for sure) so we need to build the human bond. So schedule her and when she is
out, she is mostly out WITH YOU and you are working on her attention, head turns and following. Having her on lead (a new world in and of itself I assume)
would be useful.

Reward attention, following, etc.
